Scribendo disces scribere--one learns to write by writing

This site was developed to provide a place for authors to share their writing while they learn. The site is unique in many ways:

1. It is completely free to both the authors and their readers. Use it and share it freely.
2. The stories are released in serial fashion. For the author it can provide continued motivation to get the story done and the readers get to enjoy the anticipation waiting for the next installment.
3. Though the stories may cover any topic and be written for any age group they all meet the standards set forth in the booklet "For the Strength of Youth".

If you are an author or an aspiring author we invite you to post your writing here. There are significant benefits to sharing your work electronically including feedback on your work, building a group of avid readers, and increasing your visibility as an author (your writing will never be discovered if left to gather dust on your hard drive). CTRstories.com is open for stories of every genre written for every age group. The stories share a consistent adherence to the standards set forth in the pamphlet "For the Strength of Youth."

Active Participation

CTRstories.com makes it easy for readers to participate in the story writing process by actively providing feedback to the author. Readers are also encouraged to spread the word and share their favorite stories with friends and family. It's all free.

Eager Anticipation

Stories on CTRstories.com are released in a serial fashion. Registered users can choose to be notified whenever a new chapter is posted. No waiting for the complete story, CTR readers get "first access," hot off the key board.

What about Copyrights?

All stories submitted to CTRstories remain the property of the submitting author. The stories are licensed under the Creative Commons license to promote the sharing of the story, maintain author ownership, and to disallow modification or commercial use.
